Warranty & Returns Policy

Our stringent processes ensure that the products you receive are of impeccable quality, in pristine condition, and devoid of any defects. Every product undergoes comprehensive inspection and testing, adhering to stringent standards. Our refurbishment process is certified by Microsoft and benchmarked by ISO, ensuring that you receive a professionally refurbished device that performs like new.
While we strive for perfection, occasional minor issues may arise during shipping or due to human error. If you encounter any problems or have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us, and we’ll promptly address your concerns.
 

Standard Warranty

 
All Certified Refurbished Products delivered within South Africa come with a 6-month warranty from the date of delivery, as indicated by the Proof of Delivery documentation. This warranty covers supplied accessories such as the keyboard, mouse, battery, and charger. Customers wishing to file a warranty claim must adhere to the provided instructions and procedures.
After the initial warranty period, Afri Techno offers an additional 12-month Remote Diagnostics service, with repair quotations available if needed. Customers also have the option to purchase an additional 12-month warranty within 30 days of purchase for an extra charge.
 

Return Categories

Incorrectly Dispatched Items: If we inadvertently deliver the wrong product or if the product differs from the description on our website, please notify us, and we’ll arrange for the product’s collection at no cost to you. It’s crucial to securely package the item when returning it to prevent damage during transit. Refer to the ‘Returns Process’ and ‘Preparing your products for a return’ sections for detailed instructions. Upon receiving the returned product and validating your claim, we’ll promptly dispatch the correct item to you.
 

Missing Accessories:

Should the product be missing any accessories or parts, notify us within 24 hours of delivery. Please email support@afritechno.co.za with your order number, details of the missing items, and photos of the package and received items for validation. Once confirmed, we’ll dispatch the missing accessories without delay.
 

Products Damaged on Delivery:

If a product arrives damaged, notify us within 24 hours of delivery. It’s advisable to photograph the package before opening it. Email support@afritechno.co.za with your order number, details of the damage, and photos for validation. Once verified, we’ll arrange to collect the damaged product at no charge, provided it’s securely packaged. Refer to the ‘Returns Process’ section for detailed instructions. After inspecting the product and validating the return, we’ll repair, replace, or credit your account accordingly.
 

Defective Products:

If you receive a defective product, notify us as soon as possible. Please refer to the Returns Process for return requirements. It’s important to note that minor cosmetic flaws are inherent to refurbished products and are not considered defects under our policy. Certain conditions are not considered defects and are not eligible for returns. Please refer to the policy for a comprehensive list.
 

Unwanted Products:

Afri Techno does not offer refunds for unwanted products. However, at our discretion, we may allow exchanges for alternative products provided the returned item is in sellable condition. Additional charges may apply for exchanges, depending on the product’s age and condition.
 

Returns Process

When reporting a flaw or error, email support@afritechno.co.za with details of the issue. If necessary, we’ll schedule a remote diagnostic or arrange for the product’s collection. Refer to the ‘Preparing your products for a return’ section for packaging guidelines.
 

Refunds

Refunds are issued only for damaged or defective items returned within 7 days of delivery. Refunds are processed within 7 business days upon approval. Missing accessories may affect the refund amount. Refunds are credited to the original payment method. Please note that refunds are subject to certain conditions and may not cover all situations. Delivery Information

Afri Techno is committed to providing our customers with the highest quality products and services. We also understand the importance of prompt delivery and offer efficient and free courier delivery across South Africa.
Upon placing your order, our team commences the final preparation of your device, including a thorough quality check, firmware update, cleaning, and careful packaging. While we strive to complete this process as soon as possible, we request 2-10 working days for delivery.
Once your device is ready, we dispatch it using trusted couriers. Depending on your location, delivery times are as follows:
• Johannesburg & Pretoria: 2-3 working days
• Cape Town & Durban: 5-10 working days
• Outlying Areas: 5-10 working days
 
We provide online package tracking for your convenience. While we endeavour to dispatch goods by the agreed date, circumstances beyond our control may cause delays. In such cases, we will promptly notify you.
Delivery is considered complete upon delivery to your nominated address, at which point all risks pass to you. Please ensure the number of packages delivered matches the delivery note, noting any discrepancies or damage on the Proof of Delivery.
Afri Techno reserves the right to ship goods separately and invoice each shipment separately for faster and more efficient delivery.
